We want your visit to Mid-coast Maine to be a wonderful and memorable one, whether you are here for a week, or just for one night.
We'll gladly help with reservations -- for lunch, dinner, or day trip -- or with any other aspect of your visit to Maine's beautiful mid-coast area. As the geographic center of this special region, Rockland is convenient to many local attractions from Freeport to Bar Harbor and everywhere in-between.
Our innkeepers maintain up-to-date information on local and regional activities, and can provide you with maps, brochures, and other pertinent information to help you plan a special afternoon, evening, or entire vacation. Take a look at our activities page for some ideas on how to spend your time here when you're not relaxing at the Berry Manor Inn!
Evening sweets featuring homemade pies baked by the Moms are just one of the many treats we offer our guests, beginning with fresh, hot coffee served in the second-floor library at 7 a.m. Feel free to enjoy your first cup of the day in the library, on the front porch, or wrapped in a warm and cozy robe (robes are provided) in your room.
Enjoy a full, multi-course breakfast in our elegantly appointed dining room any time between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Choose an intimate table for two by the window or ask us to set up a table for up to six if you are traveling with a larger party. With advance notice we can also arrange for an earlier or later meal to better fit your travel plans, or plan a menu to accommodate special dietary needs or food allergies.
All of our public rooms -- parlor, drawing room, library, and pantry -- are yours to enjoy during your stay, as are the gardens and front porch.
Keep a champagne toast chilling in the guest pantry refrigerator, or warm a piece of pie to go with your evening tea.
Spend a quiet hour in front of the drawing room fire with a book chosen from our second floor library, play a board game, or put a jigsaw puzzle together on the table by the front windows. And should you need an electronic diversion, we've tucked a TV, VCR, and Nintendo game behind the doors of the drawing room armoire. |
