Picture yourself poised at the top of the grand stairway, your future husband, family, and friends gathered around the main hall... or celebrating your 'just married' status with a lobster feast on the grounds of a beautiful mansion that is yours to call home for the weekend!
Whatever your dream, the Berry Manor Inn can provide a lovely, intimate setting in a grand home for your wedding ceremony, wedding reception, or other special function. Your innkeepers are seasoned event coordinators, and can help arrange for tents, tables, catering, flowers, and other special needs should you wish.
Our grounds can accommodate an outside gathering near the gardens. The first floor of the inn boasts a large formal parlor, drawing room, dining room, and grand hall for indoor functions. The ideal size for an event held at the Berry Manor Inn would range from 20 to 45 people, with overnight accommodations for up to 26 guests. Some of our past wedding couples have held their rehearsal dinners here, others have arranged for a bridesmaid's afternoon tea, an open house beer and wine dinner for out-of-town guests arriving for the wedding weekend, and an after wedding breakfast for the newly married couple, family, and friends. Family and Friend Reunions
Our inn with its many common rooms and small private spaces is an ideal setting for your next family reunion. The inn can accommodate up to 28 overnight guests and with the inn "yours" for the weekend you can have a Maine Lobster dinner catered on the lawn, have a game night in the library, show those old home movies or create a new family tradition. The location of the inn makes it ideal to meet the needs of a large group, walk to town to shop, visit the Farnsworth Museum or the Transportation museum, take an afternoon sail on a schooner or a trolley ride around town. Conferences
The Berry Manor Inn is equipped to accommodate conferences and meeting space for 4 - 20 people. The ideal size for overnight conferences and meetings is up to a maximum of 10-12 people. This will allow for several break out areas, a main meeting room and private overnight accommodations for each participant. Breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon refreshments (warm cookies!) can be provided by the inn and the area boasts several fabulous restaurants (many in walking distance) for your dinner fare. Rates will vary depending on number of overnight guests and attendees, meal requirements and time of year, call us to start planning for your next business meeting. |
