Come to PIE TOWN and enjoy the Historic Inns of Rockland's 6th annual "Pies on Parade" event in celebration of National Pie Day, January 23rd and EAT PIE!!!!! Last year over 4, 250 pieces of pies, 425 total pies and 35 different types were on parade in PIE TOWN for this event. New in 2010, we are adding some new pie eating events for Saturday, January 23rd exclusive to our package guests.

On Saturday afternoon, enjoy a special presentation at Project Puffin and a docent led tour of the Maine Lighthouse Museum provided only for guests of the Historic Inns. Refreshments including "Puffed Pastry Pie" and "Litehouse Pies" will be served. Late afternoon on Saturday, join us at the Wine Seller for a PIE Town first - a "Wine and Pie" pairing.

On Sunday, the Pies on Parade event will be held from 1 to 5pm and will include over fifteen venues to satisfy all of your pie eating needs! Each of the participating four inns will feature samplings of sweet and savory pies along with tours of the inns and the participating eleven restaurants will feature such choices as pizza pie, pie iron pies, ice cream pies, whoopie pies, decadent chocolate pie, pizzettas just to name a few. We will once again have continuous trolley service to all FIFTEEN venues participating in this event for 2010.

Due to the popularity of this event and with the Berry Manor Inn "Moms Behaving Badly" appearing on Food Network's "Throw Down with Bobby Flay" we strongly suggest that you book early for this event as we generally sell out. This is one of the largest fundraisers for AIO (Area Interfaith Outreach), our local food and fuel community assistance program. Every participating inn and restaurant venue donates their time and product so that about ~85% of all ticket sales go directly to the AIO. In 2009, this event raised $5,000 in ticket sales which was matched by one our participants to total $10,000 raised to help our neighbors and friends with food and fuel by eating pie!!!!!

Two night packages (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday) range from $315 to $605 (suite) and include ALL of the following:
