Known for going head-to-head with the Food Network’s Bobby Flay, chef/owner Lynn Archer grew up in the area and prides herself on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone that crosses her threshold.

Another of Lynn Archer’s restaurants, the Brass Compass Café embodies the same guiding principles she employs at her waterfront restaurant. Open for breakfast and lunch only, baking for the café begins in the wee hours of the morning. The “claim to fame” on the menu is her “King of Clubs,” the sandwich that beat Bobby Flay.
